Overview:

CNG stands for Compressed Natural Gas, a type of natural gas used as a fuel that is compressed to power cars, public transportation and other gas-fired equipment. CNG cylinders are containers used to store and transport compressed natural gas (CNG). They are usually made of high-strength materials to withstand the storage of gas under high-pressure conditions.

Construction and materials:

CNG Tank Type 2 has a composite shell construction, usually made of fiber-reinforced composites. It has a cylindrical shape and consists of multiple composite layers. The interior uses a polymer material as a gas sealing layer and is equipped with metal threaded connections and valves to connect the gas source to the equipment used.
